Connecting things to CrewLAB saves you manual work in two ways: workouts sync in from your watch or hardware, and your CrewLAB events show up in the calendar you already use.
Both start in the same place: tap your Profile icon in the upper right corner, then the cog icon to open Settings.
Supported devices and apps
Apple Health, for an Apple Watch
Concept2 Logbook, for erg data
COROS
Garmin Connect
By integrating with the Concept2 Logbook, you can pull all your erg app data—from ErgData, RowHero, ErgZone, and more—directly into CrewLAB in one place. Workouts automatically sync from your preferred app to the Concept2 Logbook, then flow into CrewLAB without any manual transfers.
Connect a device or app
Tap your Profile icon, then the cog icon for Settings.
Tap Connected Apps.
Tap your device or app.
Tap Connect, then complete the screens that follow to sign in to that service.
For Concept2, COROS and Garmin you need an account with that service first. Apple Health needs no separate account. Devices can only be connected on a mobile device.
Avoiding duplicate workouts
Many devices sync with more than one platform, so connecting two overlapping paths results in the same workout being uploaded twice.
Two common cases:
A Garmin watch that syncs to Apple Health, with Garmin also connected directly to CrewLAB
A COROS device that syncs to Apple Health, with COROS also connected directly
Connect one path per device. If your device already syncs to Apple Health, Apple Health to CrewLAB is usually simplest. If you use Garmin or COROS without Apple Health, connect that device directly instead.
If you're already seeing duplicates, open Connected Apps and remove the redundant integration. Workouts keep syncing through the path you leave in place.
Connect an external calendar
CrewLAB syncs to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook Calendar.
Tap your Profile icon, then the cog icon for Settings.
Tap Connect Calendar.
Tap Enable Calendar Connection.
Choose your calendar app from the list.
Complete the screens that follow.
There's no limit on how many external calendars you connect. Calendars can be connected on desktop and mobile devices.
What syncs to your calendar
Events for the teams you belong to
Club events for your club
Invite-only events you've been invited to
Events are pulled from 90 days before today up to 18 months ahead.
Sync isn't immediate
Calendar sync is not real-time. New events, edits and cancellations reach your external calendar anywhere from a couple of hours to a full day later. If you need the current schedule, check CrewLAB rather than your calendar app.
Sync runs one way. Editing an event in your own calendar doesn't update it in CrewLAB, nor does it change your RSVP.
Turning calendar sync off
Turning off calendar sync disables updates for every connected calendar at once, not just one.
Events already in your external calendar stay visible but stop updating. To remove them completely, unsubscribe from the CrewLAB calendar feed inside Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar.
If something doesn't sync
For a missing workout, open the device's own app first and confirm the workout is there. If it is, the connection to CrewLAB is the problem.
