CrewLAB has two independent sets of roles.
Club roles are Admin and Member. They control payments and business administration.
Team roles are Coach, Captain, Athlete, Parent and Other. They control day-to-day team operations.
The two sets don't affect each other. A person can hold one role in a club and a different role in a team, and the club role gives them nothing extra inside a Team space.
Roles are per team
You can be a different role in different teams. Changing your role in one team doesn't change it anywhere else.
Find out what role you are
Your role is shown on your profile. Tap your profile picture icon to open your profile.
If you need a different role
Only a Coach can change a role. If you're an Athlete, Captain, Parent or Other and need yours changed, ask your Coach.
Coach can change a role by following these steps:
Go to the Roster.
Select the person to open their profile.
Go to the Details tab.
Change the Role field in the Overview section.
A note on old terminology
The Parent and Other roles used to be called Supporter. If you see "Supporter" anywhere, it means one of those two roles.
