CrewLAB processes payments through Stripe. You need a connected Stripe account before you can collect any money.
Go to the Payments tab to connect it. If your club already has a Stripe account you can link it. If not, CrewLAB walks you through creating one.
What Stripe asks for
Your club's banking information, meaning account and routing numbers
Tax ID or EIN
Identity verification for a club representative
Stripe requires these for compliance. Once connected, payments flow directly from members into your club's bank account.
Your Stripe account is yours
The Stripe account belongs to your club, not to CrewLAB. If you leave CrewLAB, your Stripe account, payment history and customer data go with you. There's no lock-in.
This is worth knowing before you start, and worth repeating to a board that's wary of committing.
